Worship is the focus of all we do in Christ. As our appropriate, joy-filled response to God's love, our worship is energized by the indescribable love of Jesus Christ for us. God's gracious love propels every aspect of worship including prayer, proclamation and praise.

Joyful In God's Word

Growing in God's inspired and perfect Word found in the Scriptures is our greatest desire. As the earliest Christians continued steadfastly in the study and reflection of the Word, Gethsemane offers numerous opportunities for people of all levels to begin--or continue--their walk in God's Word.

Joyful In Praise

Gethsemane offers many opportunities for praise and music. Morning Bells and Evening Bell choirs, Congregational Choir, Praise team, special seasonal choirs, Youth and Adult Guitar lessons and guitar praise band provide opportunities for novices and experts alike to praise God in a variety of ways.

Joyful in Mission
a
Gethsemane reaches out into the community to help those with special needs including seniors, and families.  Our support of the multi-cultural ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Mission in Pontiac and cross-cultural ministries in Mexicantown - Detroit are in addition to our support of local, state and national ministries of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
